Owen has been a financial journalist since 2010, working at GlobalCapital, IFR and 9fin. He's covered leveraged finance, corporate bonds, structured credit, asset-backed securities, commercial real estate, bank debt, covered bonds, repo, restructurings, supranationals and more. The more complex the capital structure and the weirder the credit the better. He's a regular moderator at industry events and has a masters in economic and financial history from the University of Cambridge.
