Marta Stojanova

Director, Leveraged Finance, S&P Corporate Ratings

Marta Stojanova is a Director in the Leveraged Finance team within S&P Corporate Ratings. She joined S&P Global Ratings’ London office in 2019 and is responsible for leveraged transactions involving private equity sponsors, complex transactions and restructurings, private credit estimates, structured finance (CLOs) and speculative-grade recovery analysis. She publishes regularly on themes covering European leveraged finance, recovery and European CLOs.

Prior to joining S&P, Marta spent nearly two decades in various investment banking and debt capital markets roles prior to joining S&P.  She has vast transactional experience in originating and structuring debt-financed acquisitions for corporates and private equity sponsors. In addition, Marta was an investment manager at Citi Private Equity deploying over $11 billion in private company equity co-investments, mezzanine and fund-of-funds investments, across Europe and North America. She also has experience in buy-side structuring and negotiating rescue finance for challenged credits
