SVP Corporate Development – M&A and Investments, Mitsubishi HC Capital America, Inc

Daniel Harari currently serves as Mitsubishi HC Capital America’s Senior Vice President, Corporate Development – M&A and Investments and leads its M&A and investment activities in North America. Daniel previously served as Managing Member and Founding Partner of Three Keys Capital Advisors. He has also served as an investment banker at Lazard, Citi, and UBS. Over his 25-year career in corporate advisory, he has executed over $85bn in M&A advisory and restructuring assignments in a wide variety of industries including financial institutions, technology, and energy.

Notable assignments include the merger of Mitsubishi Tokyo Financial Group (MTFG) and UFJ Holdings, acquisitions by Hitachi Capital America of their Canadian, vendor finance and supply chain finance business units, the US Treasury investment in GMAC, the conservatorship of Fannie Mae, the merger of CME Group with the Chicago Board of Trade, the sale of Global Knowledge to Skillsoft, and strategic advisory assignments for various transmission and distribution utilities including Keyspan, Sierra Pacific Resources, and Exelon.

In addition, Daniel advised in the development of a variety of new lines of business at Mitsubishi HC Capital America and its predecessor companies, where he was able to leverage his experience at the intersection of finance, energy, and technology.

Daniel is the co-founder of the SAM School, a private co-educational school in Manhattan, and received his bachelor’s degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
